This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Execute thorough forensic investigations regarding structural failures and construction defects
• Conduct site inspections and collect pertinent data to facilitate forensic analysis
• Apply engineering principles and practices to evaluate and analyze structural challenges
• Draft clear and concise technical reports detailing findings and conclusions
• Offer expert testimony in legal contexts as necessary
• Keep abreast of industry trends, codes, and standards pertinent to structural engineering
• Assist projects and teams across the Greenville and Charlotte regions
• Carry out additional duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Preferred to be a Licensed Engineer Intern (EI or EIT) or have the capability to obtain it
• Willingness to travel (by road) for multiple days each week, including local and regional air travel
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
