Site Contracts Negotiator II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take charge of negotiating and executing clinical trial agreements and budgets across various studies.

• Engage in contract management activities and ensure accountability for deliverables.

• Negotiate site contracts and budgets with investigator sites while adhering to established parameters and guidelines.

• Review and modify contract language to align with sponsor requirements, local legislation, and feedback from sites.

• Oversee a portfolio of contracts, track cycle times, and proactively tackle obstacles to execution.

• Work collaboratively with legal, finance, and project teams to address contractual inquiries and ensure alignment.

• Keep precise records of negotiations, approvals, and signed agreements in the appropriate systems.

• Promote ongoing enhancement of contract templates, processes, and guidance.

• Provide mentorship to junior colleagues whenever appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in law, business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Relevant experience in site contracting, contract administration, or similar positions within CRO, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.

• Solid understanding of clinical trial agreements and the principles of budget negotiation.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

• Capability to manage multiple contracts and timelines, with a keen eye for detail and quality.

• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach towards stakeholders.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
