Site Activation Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all activities, communications, and planning efforts in direct collaboration with FAA and Leidos personnel.

• Provide daily updates, including in-brief/out-brief sessions, schedule updates, material delivery progress, and subcontractor status.

• Support Technical Operations personnel in the deployment and certification of the ERAM technical refresh system post-deployment.

• Maintain a printable electronic database format schedule on-site for each ERAM system location from General Acceptance until the conclusion of contractor maintenance duties.

• Execute software installations, firmware upgrades, and various system maintenance tasks.

• Ensure on-site equipment is maintained according to approved technical manuals.

• Assist Technical Operations personnel with periodic maintenance and system certification following hardware maintenance activities.

• Aid Technical Operations personnel in the relocation of equipment and certification of systems after hardware relocation efforts.

• Provide technical guidance to local Technical Operations personnel during ERAM maintenance, which includes system monitoring, troubleshooting, and replacement of failed LRUs.

• Assist in managing site spare parts.

• Keep site technical documentation, data files, logs, and performance records up to date.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field, or equivalent experience combined with education, along with 4+ years of relevant professional experience; or 2+ years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.

• Demonstrated commitment to personal and corporate excellence, ethical behavior, and integrity.

• Knowledge of the National Air Space and FAA NextGen Air Traffic control programs, including FAA facilities for various NextGen initiatives: ERAM, ATOP, TBFM.

• Experience in team building and maintaining a customer-centric approach.

• Familiarity with execution under Waterfall and/or Agile development methodologies.

• Previous experience in a technical leadership position requiring significant coordination across multiple functional areas.

• Prior experience with cost accounting, earned value management, ownership planning, and cost estimating.
