This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Oversee a team of SI&OP Analysts who support various Slate business units.
• Manage SI&OP for a specific Slate business unit.
• Predict demand, optimize inventory levels, and align procurement and production activities with customer needs and business goals.
• Standardize SI&OP processes across different business units and promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Brand, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Finance, and other departments.
• Create a rolling 12–24 month actionable business plan.
• Collect insights, trends, and historical sales data to develop demand forecasts.
• Create forecast models and document modifications to evaluate data accuracy.
• Measure and assess forecast accuracy across multiple lag times.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate operational planning.
• Work with procurement, production, and fulfillment teams to meet demand while reducing excess and obsolete stock.
• Address discrepancies between Demand, Inventory, and Operations plans.
• Develop, track, and report SI&OP KPIs, such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, service levels, and production/procurement performance.
• Support the monthly SI&OP cycle through meeting preparation, analysis, recommendations, and KPI reporting.
• Foster continuous improvement in forecasting, inventory management, and process efficiency.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred; practical experience and a proven record of success may compensate.
• Over 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management, ideally within SI&OP or Demand Planning.
• A minimum of 2 years of prior managerial experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management role is essential.
• Strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of data interpretation and forecasting models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or data analysis tools such as SmartSheets, Tableau, Alteryx, or scripting tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in startup environments.
• Experience or capability in warehousing practices, material management, business planning, and financial implications.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with external partners and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Capacity to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
