Simulation Specialist – Advisor, Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Lead and execute process simulation and Linear Program (LP) initiatives in the Refining and Petrochemical sectors within the Strategic Planning and Process Solutions division.

• Work collaboratively with both domestic and international clients to develop and utilize process simulations aimed at identifying and assessing margin enhancement and asset strategy opportunities, along with improving Supply Chain tools.

• Conduct Heat and Material Balance (HMB) calculations and summaries, develop individual unit and site-wide process simulation and LP models, create reports and summaries in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and support project managers in driving project completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• A B.S. or M.S. in Industrial, Chemical, or Process Engineering is mandatory, with advanced business degrees being highly preferred.

• Candidates should possess 0 to 5 years of direct experience in the development and application of process simulations.

• Applicants for LP modeling roles should have 5 to 15 years of experience in LP modeling.

• A strong understanding of refining and petrochemical technologies and economics is crucial.

• Project management skills and experience are advantageous.
