Signalling Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Provide support and management for P1 Security solutions within production environments, specifically PTM and VKB.

• Perform signalling security audits utilizing proprietary PTA tools.

• Define the scope of audits, which includes objectives, perimeter, constraints, timelines, and deliverables.

• Create safe execution plans and operational safeguards.

• Conduct signalling security audits in a controlled and systematic manner.

• Analyze results, validate findings, and evaluate exploitability and root causes.

• Compose technical reports in English and present the findings to clients.

• Serve as a technical point of contact for clients throughout the scoping, updates, and delivery processes.

• Deliver presentations, training sessions, and debrief meetings.

• Offer IT support for the PTM IDS by managing customer ticket workflows.

• Troubleshoot and maintain PTM deployments, including Linux and virtualization layers.

• Operate and enhance tools and scripts for investigations, maintenance, and deployments.

• Collaborate with Engineering and R&D to enhance tools, detection quality, and operational processes.

• Keep internal documentation and handover notes up to date.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to create professional, well-structured technical reports and slide decks in English.

• Excellent verbal communication skills for presenting and engaging directly with clients.

• Strong understanding of telecom core architecture, roaming concepts, and signalling security in actual operator environments.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting SS7/SIGTRAN, Diameter, LTE/IMS, and GTP-C call flows.

• Ability to correlate traces/observations with specific security findings.

• Familiarity with GSMA Fraud & Security standards, particularly FS.11, FS.19, and FS.20.

• Skill in converting standards requirements into test cases, evidence collection, and actionable remediation plans.

• Expertise in roaming signalling attacks and call flows.

• Comfortable with terminal usage and basic Linux commands.

• Proficient in Python for ad-hoc analysis or testing scripts.

• Ability to write and maintain Bash/shell scripts to meet operational needs.

• Experience with Linux and ESXi/VM operations is advantageous.

• Customer-oriented, self-motivated, thorough, and proactive attitude.

• Preference for candidates who can work with an overlap in Central European Time.
