Shopify Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assume technical responsibility for the Shopify Plus environment

• Create, test, and implement features for Shopify Plus themes

• Enhance Core Web Vitals and improve site performance

• Develop and support custom Shopify applications

• Design and oversee integrations among Shopify, NetSuite ERP, 3PLs, Klaviyo, and Gorgias

• Work alongside e-commerce and marketing teams on user experience initiatives, A/B testing, and personalization efforts

• Assist in designing future technical solutions, including AI-driven search and Generative Engine Optimization

• Perform code reviews and manage Git version control

• Ensure the scalability and security of the platform

⛳️ Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)

• Extensive experience with Shopify Plus, including Shopify Scripts and custom application development

• Demonstrated experience with Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs as well as critical integrations

• Strong grasp of e-commerce performance metrics, Core Web Vitals, and strategies for page-speed optimization

• Proficient in Git and contemporary development workflows

• 3–5+ years of dedicated experience in a Shopify development capacity

• A portfolio showcasing successful projects on high-traffic Shopify Plus stores

• Established experience in creating and managing complex e-commerce API integrations, such as ERP, 3PL, or WMS

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js, or headless commerce is a plus

• Direct experience with Shopify–NetSuite ERP integration is a plus

• Knowledge of Klaviyo and Gorgias is a plus

• Interest or experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus
