This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute daily settlement processes.
• Reconcile banking accounts.
• Confirm ACH and wire transactions.
• Validate funding activities.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and out-of-balance issues.
• Verify daily funding and settlement operations.
• Comprehend settlement account activities and cash flow.
• Align transactions between system reports, ACH files, and bank statements.
• Analyze extensive transaction data.
• Recognize patterns and underlying causes.
• Ensure data precision and thoroughness.
• Adhere to strict daily timelines.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline; or a High School Diploma/GED with relevant work experience in banking, treasury, payments, or accounting may be considered.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word required.
• 2-5 years of experience in bank reconciliations, settlement operations, payment processing, cash management, and accounting support functions.
• Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required, including capabilities in VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, SUMIFS, data validation, reconciliation methods, and handling large datasets.
• General accounting knowledge and expertise.
• Familiarity with credits, debits, ACH transactions, wire transfers, and returned payments.
• Preferred experience with ACH, wire transfers, returns, adjustments, and exceptions.
• Highly desirable experience in back-office roles within a bank.
• Experience in payment services, government payments, prepaid cards, banking, or ACH files is a plus.
• Ability to meet stringent daily deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Comfort in managing sensitive financial information.
