ServiceNow Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and configure ServiceNow applications utilizing CMDB modules.

• Engage with multiple customer platforms in a dynamic environment.

• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and create solutions.

• Execute data analysis, integration, and migration tasks.

• Tailor ServiceNow catalog functionalities, workflows, asset management features, and integrations.

• Develop catalog items and refine workflows.

• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging activities.

• Offer technical support and maintenance for ServiceNow deployments.

• Keep abreast of ServiceNow features, best practices, and industry developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree with over 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and configuration; alternatively, a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

• Must possess or be able to obtain ServiceNow CIS in one or more of the following: SPM, Data Foundations, DISC, SAM, HAM.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must be eligible to secure a Secret clearance.

• Proficient in JavaScript, GlideScript, and PowerShell.

• Strong understanding of ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM best practices and frameworks.

• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and third-party system integrations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and additional ITOM/ITAM features.

• Preferred: Knowledge of CMDB and its significance in ITOM and ITAM processes.

• Preferred: Previous experience in IT asset management and software license management.
