ServiceNow Portal Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow portals, including solutions for Employee Center and Business Portal.

• Customize and develop portal widgets, pages, components, themes, and layouts to fulfill customer needs.

• Create modern user experiences utilizing UI Builder and Now Experience technologies as needed.

• Collaborate with customers, solution architects, service designers, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers.

• Convert business requirements into high-quality digital experiences for both customers and employees.

• Participate in agile teams utilizing iterative development and prototyping methodologies.

• Identify and propose innovative ServiceNow solutions that enhance business outcomes, simplify daily tasks, improve user experiences, and facilitate business automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow Service Portals.

• Experience with UI Builder and Now Experience Framework is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform architecture, data models, and development best practices.

• Proficient in ServiceNow scripting, including Client Scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules, and Glide APIs.

• Knowledgeable in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.

• Capable of customizing portal layouts, themes, widgets, and user interface components.

• Familiar with modern front-end development principles, performance optimization, responsive user interfaces, and ensuring browser compatibility.

• Passionate about Business Technology and innovative organizational solutions.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

• Skilled in translating UX/UI designs, wireframes, and prototypes into functional portal solutions.

• Understanding of accessibility standards, such as WCAG, with the ability to implement accessible user interfaces.

• Interested in leveraging AI for development, debugging, risk assessment, alternative viewpoints, and innovations.

• Enthusiastic about AI agents and automation possibilities.

• Proficient in English.
