Senior ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, customize, and implement ServiceNow applications to meet client business needs.

• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to document business outcomes and functional requirements.

• Convert requirements into ServiceNow solution designs.

• Work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that adhere to best practices.

• Develop and maintain intricate scripts, business rules, and UI policies.

• Assist with data migration from legacy systems to ServiceNow.

• Validate data migration and utilize standard ServiceNow data schemas.

• Aid in integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications.

• Produce technical documentation for configurations, customizations, data schemas, and technical decisions.

• Test ServiceNow configurations to ensure functionality, data integrity, and user experience.

• Support end-user training and manage change effectively.

• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation-related incidents and technical issues.

• Adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

• Stay updated on ServiceNow features, enhancements, and best practices.

• Pursue certification and training to fulfill practice standards and growth opportunities.

• Coordinate with project managers, implementation specialists, and stakeholders.

• Communicate project risks, issues, achievements, and status updates.

• Mentor junior developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development.

• 3+ years of experience in implementing ServiceNow solutions.

• 1+ years of experience in customizing Portals.

• 1+ years of experience with advanced JavaScript.

• 2+ years of experience in agile software development methodologies.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required.

• US citizenship is mandatory.

• Must be eligible to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.

• Must reside in and perform work within the United States.

• Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.

• Preferred: Capability to configure, customize, and implement ServiceNow applications using App Engine.

• Preferred: Experience with advanced scripts, business rules, and client scripts.

• Preferred: Experience designing and conducting data migration activities.

• Preferred: Experience in testing ServiceNow configurations.

• Preferred: Experience troubleshooting ServiceNow implementations.

• Preferred: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Preferred: Solid experience in agile methodology and Scrum teams.

• Preferred: Collaborative team-oriented work experience.

• Preferred: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred: Strong attention to detail.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with advanced JavaScript.

• Preferred: Experience in stakeholder presentations and interfacing.

• Preferred: Active DHS or DoD Secret clearance.
