ServiceNow Developer – EAM, HAM, SAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Establish and execute ServiceNow architectural standards that align with client goals, IT strategy, data architecture, and technical roadmaps.

• Create scalable, maintainable, and secure ServiceNow solutions.

• Design, develop, configure, and deploy ITAM, HAM, SAM, EAM, ITOM, custom/scoped applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, integrations, and automation.

• Implement and maintain ServiceNow Data Foundations, CMDB, asset relationships, and enterprise data sources.

• Advocate for data quality, normalization, governance, and data integrity.

• Oversee asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, onboarding, inventory, discovery, normalization, assignment, maintenance, compliance, optimization, retirement, and disposal.

• Integrate ServiceNow with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, procurement, contract management, and enterprise systems.

• Develop solutions utilizing JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP, and scoped applications.

• Provide support for integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.

• Assist with ATO activities, upgrades, patching, environment cloning, MID Server administration, performance tuning, platform monitoring, and production support.

• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, architects, developers, clients, and technical teams during Agile and SAFe ceremonies.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and offer technical guidance.

• Produce architecture diagrams, configuration specifications, workflow and integration documentation, technical designs, and data models.

• Comply with federal security, privacy, accessibility, operational, and ATO requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Over 5 years of practical experience in ServiceNow development, implementation, or solution architecture.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.

• Must live and carry out all work within the United States.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.

• Practical experience with ServiceNow HAM, SAM, and EAM.

• Familiarity with hardware and software asset lifecycle management.

• Experience with ServiceNow Data Foundations, data governance, normalization, data quality, and enterprise data modeling.

• Background in large-scale CMDB implementations and data relationship management.

• Experience in ServiceNow App Engine and custom application development.

• Experience with Service Portal and/or Employee Center.

• Experience in designing and supporting ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems.

• Knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow development frameworks.

• Certification as a ServiceNow Certified Data Foundations Specialist.

• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS, CTA, HAM, and SAM are required.
