This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.
• Design, develop, configure, test, and provide support for ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Create and improve solutions across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, CMDB, App Engine, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, and various other ServiceNow capabilities.
• Convert business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.
• Develop integrations with enterprise systems utilizing REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, webhooks, import sets, and transform maps.
• Implement workflow automation using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Service Catalog, and other platform functionalities.
• Facilitate the adoption of Now Assist and AI-enabled workflows with suitable controls, testing, monitoring, and human oversight.
• Advocate for standard ServiceNow functionality and reusable solutions while reducing unnecessary customization and technical debt.
• Conduct code reviews, automated testing, release validation, and troubleshoot complex platform issues.
• Assist with platform upgrades, production deployments, technical documentation, and operational handover.
• Mentor fellow developers and contribute to engineering standards and ongoing platform enhancement.
• Identify opportunities to enhance user experience, automate manual processes, and deliver tangible business value.
• Collaborate with the ServiceNow Practice Lead, business analysts, architects, business owners, and other development teams.
• Extensive hands-on experience in developing and supporting solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, APIs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, ServiceNow Studio, or App Engine Studio.
• Experience with ITSM and at least one additional ServiceNow product, such as CSM, HRSD, SPM, or App Engine.
• Familiarity with Now Assist, Virtual Agent, or other ServiceNow AI and automation functionalities.
• Demonstrated experience in building integrations using REST, SOAP, webhooks, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data models, scoped applications, ACLs, security, and development best practices.
• Experience with code reviews, testing, release management, platform upgrades, and production support.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication abilities.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery frameworks.
• Professional proficiency in English.
