This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support to federal clients in the role of a ServiceNow Developer.
• Design, configure, develop, and implement both baseline and customized ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
• Offer architectural guidance and recommendations.
• Ensure the overall stability of the platform by adhering to established design and development standards.
• Operate independently as well as collaboratively within a technical team.
• Manage multiple instances and domains, catering to both internal and external clients.
• Utilize Agile/Scrum methodology for managing development tasks.
• Provide advice to functional and administrative teams regarding ServiceNow design, development, and best practices.
• Work with business, systems, and technology partners to gather business and systems requirements.
• Create requested enhancements for existing ServiceNow applications.
• Write scripts for Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, and other related components.
• Facilitate and support the deployment of new applications and enhancements within ServiceNow.
• Analyze system performance issues and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
• A Secret clearance is required; eligibility for Top Secret is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship is necessary for most positions.
• Strong familiarity and practical experience with the ServiceNow Suite of tools, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident, and Knowledge Base.
• Proven experience as a developer outside of the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Competence in IT Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, ITIL/ITSM, and PMP/PRINCE2 methodologies.
• Experience participating in project teams utilizing Agile/Scrum techniques.
• Knowledge of system/software engineering lifecycle principles.
• Ability to translate requirements into both functional and technical solutions.
• Experience in application implementation and support.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring practices.
• Experience handling large datasets and performing data analysis/modeling.
• ServiceNow Developer Certification is preferred.
