ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, develop, and implement both baseline and custom applications and enhancements within ServiceNow.

• Provide architectural insights.

• Ensure overall platform stability by adhering to appropriate design and development standards.

• Operate independently and collaborate as a member of a technical team.

• Support both internal and external customers across multiple instances and domains.

• Utilize Agile/Scrum methodology to manage development tasks.

• Guide functional and administrative teams on ServiceNow design, development, and best practices.

• Partner with business, systems, and technology stakeholders during business analysis sessions.

• Develop business and system requirements.

• Address and implement requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications.

• Script Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, and related components.

• Facilitate and support the rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow.

• Analyze system performance issues and recommend performance improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Secret clearance is required; Top Secret eligibility is preferred.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for most positions.

• Strong familiarity with and practical knowledge of the ServiceNow Suite of tools, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident, and Knowledge Base.

• Proven experience as a developer outside of the ServiceNow platform.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in IT Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, ITIL/ITSM, and PMP/PRINCE2 methodologies.

• Experience in project teams utilizing Agile/Scrum practices.

• Familiarity with system/software engineering lifecycle principles.

• Ability to convert requirements into functional and technical solutions.

• Experience in application implementation and support.

• Knowledge of enterprise monitoring.

• Experience working with large data sets and conducting data analysis/modeling.

• ServiceNow Developer Certification is preferred.
