This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with government entities and report directly to the CMDB Operations Manager.
• Oversee and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow environment.
• Ensure the data within the CMDB ecosystem is accurate, complete, and reliable.
• Design, manage, and uphold CMDB processes and workflows in ServiceNow.
• Generate and implement CMDB health and usage reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve CMDB-related issues, including precedence and IRE.
• Perform regular audits and engage in data cleansing activities.
• Work alongside IT teams to maintain the CMDB as a trustworthy, up-to-date source of information.
• Keep abreast of ServiceNow updates and incorporate new CMDB features.
• Offer technical support and guidance on CMDB best practices to IT personnel and stakeholders.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; a Bachelor's Degree in a related field may substitute for 5 years of experience.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, CI Class Manager, CMDB Data Manager, CMDB Health Dashboards, Performance Analytics, CMDB Query Builder, and Service Mapping.
• At least one certification is required: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM); ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - CMDB; Certified ServiceNow Administrator; or Certified ServiceNow Developer.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• In-depth understanding of ITSM and ITIL frameworks.
• Established track record in ITSM technologies.
• Experience in analyzing data and its relationships within various business sectors of an organization.
• Practical knowledge of the software development life cycle, encompassing planning, development, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint.
• Preferred: US Citizen with the capability to secure and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Preferred: Exposure to Axonius, HAM, SAMPro, and Flexera Data Platform.
• Preferred: Experience within the Department of Defense.
