This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize, design, and execute new features utilizing the ServiceNow low-code platform, guided by prioritized product backlogs.

• Apply innovative and creative thinking to address challenging issues and collaborate with colleagues as well as internal and external resources.

• Develop service requests, request items, and tasks based on requirements through workflows.

• Oversee data flows from customers to support teams providing services.

• Perform unit testing, including edge cases, and engage in peer code reviews.

• Attend and actively contribute to Agile meetings, such as user story grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Present to clients during sprint demonstrations and coordinate meetings with intersecting teams.

• Engage in the implementation of architectures for digital solutions, frameworks, and accelerators.

• Partake in internal knowledge-sharing sessions, promote best practices, and draft white papers as necessary.

• Create proofs of concept and develop technical solutions for internal applications as required.

• Implement ServiceNow within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM).

• Learn from peers and senior team members while mentoring junior team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

• A minimum of 4-7+ years of professional experience within the ServiceNow ecosystem, executing project implementations that leverage the full functionality (discover, design, implement, and optimize) of the ServiceNow platform in an Agile framework.

• Strong understanding of IT delivery methodologies and leading teams in the implementation of solutions in accordance with the design/architecture.

• Experience with ServiceNow components in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM).

• Proficient in creating reports and dashboards within ServiceNow.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ServiceNow Certified CSM Implementation Specialist.

• Good grasp of data concepts (SQL, Databases) and business workflows.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage at all levels with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Capable and willing to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring minimal supervision.

• Experienced in managing multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities, and taking timely actions; familiar with Agile methodologies and Agile project management.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, complemented by excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a remote setting.

• Experience collaborating with software development team members.

• Familiarity with other open-source technologies is preferred.
