ServiceNow Application Developer, Contingent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, and implement solutions utilizing ServiceNow and Nuvolo.

• Analyze functional requirements to create technical solution designs.

• Create workflows, business rules, forms, integrations, reports, dashboards, and notifications.

• Build and improve functionalities that support order fulfillment, inventory management, accessibility enhancements, KPI reporting, and customer support capabilities.

• Develop, execute, and document unit, integration, and system testing.

• Produce technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment documentation, and test scripts.

• Diagnose and resolve software defects and production-related issues.

• Assist with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities, enhancement sprints, and platform upgrades.

• Engage in demonstrations, sprint reviews, and user acceptance testing activities.

• Ensure that all development work adheres to WCAG 2.2 and Section 508 standards.

• Support release management and deployment processes across different environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Public Trust Eligibility is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development tasks on ServiceNow platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proficient in ServiceNow scripting, workflows, forms, integrations, and platform customization.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

• Experience in creating technical documentation and conducting software testing activities.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG and Section 508.

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens or currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination.
