Service Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Installs fundamental mechanical commercial food equipment and provides assistance in more complex installations as required.

• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs basic mechanical commercial food equipment for clients on a contract basis and/or on a time and material (T&M) basis.

• Completes and documents preventive maintenance on basic mechanical commercial food equipment.

• Implements and adheres to standard operating procedures specified in Hobart Service safety manuals and programs.

• Contributes to branch and organizational financial goals by delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Keeps up-to-date with current organizational, industry, and equipment knowledge.

• Accountable for assigned company assets, including vehicle, tools, and inventory.

• Adheres to the company's safe driving policies and other relevant guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• 0-2 years of electrical/mechanical experience.

• An Associate's Degree or Vocational Certificate is preferred.

• Mechanical or electrical experience is desired.

• Experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment is preferred.
