This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a three to five-year category strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
• Define target segments along with customer value propositions.
• Analyze market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitor positioning.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for growth and margin improvement.
• Lead initiatives aimed at service differentiation.
• Optimize revenue mix, enhance gross margins, and improve cost-to-serve metrics.
• Design and execute pricing strategies, establish discounting guidelines, and create contract structures.
• Advocate for pricing discipline across the sales teams.
• Define and optimize the calibration and solutions service portfolio.
• Rationalize low-margin or low-demand offerings.
• Develop bundled service offerings and subscription models.
• Introduce new services that respond to customer needs, industry standards, or technological advancements.
• Ensure alignment with operational capabilities and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Sales to enhance training, tools, process discipline, and value messaging.
• Coordinate with Operations/Labs to align capacity, turnaround times, and cost structures.
• Work with Quality/Compliance to meet accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Engage with Marketing on targeted campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.
• Coordinate with Distribution and Rentals regarding equipment, standards, and vendor optimization.
• Partner with IT to ensure that technology infrastructure and software assets align with business goals.
• Influence senior stakeholders regarding priorities, investments, and trade-offs.
• Serve as the voice of the customer.
• Support key account strategies and strategic deal structuring.
• Develop standardized proposals, pricing frameworks, and service level agreements.
• Enhance customer retention and expansion through improved service value.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Over 5 years of successful experience in the service industry.
• Experience in category strategy development.
• Proficiency in pricing strategy and value-based selling.
• Strong market and competitive analysis skills.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capable of driving alignment across diverse teams without direct reporting lines.
• Ability to translate complex strategies into clear and persuasive visual and verbal narratives for top-tier stakeholders.
• Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in financial modeling and business case development.
• Knowledge of service delivery models and cost structures within technical service environments.
• Relevant industry experience (e.g., test equipment, distribution, calibration) is a plus.
• Experience with strategic sourcing is an advantage.
• Leadership experience is a bonus.
