This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +4 more states.
• Achieve or surpass an established sales plan and provide accurate sales performance forecasts.
• Create and implement a territory strategy to enhance business growth within the designated area.
• Conduct daily outbound calls and engage via email with various organizational levels and functional departments within customer accounts.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of service and support offerings to proactively identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals and oversee sales territory activities.
• Clearly articulate sales initiatives across different organizational levels.
• Analyze the competitive landscape and present comparable or superior solutions to clients.
• Relay information regarding competitive actions, market trends, and evolving customer directions to the organization.
• Utilize data sources to assess and develop sales opportunities with the highest return on investment.
• Assist with designated marketing initiatives.
• Accurately complete assigned tasks and reports on time while optimizing productivity during critical sales phases.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of varied experience in Life Sciences, encompassing service, laboratory experience, sales, product management, or other cross-functional commercial roles.
• Exceptional telephone skills and effective communication capabilities.
• High level of proficiency in negotiating complex agreements.
• Proven track record in meeting and exceeding goals and objectives.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and diverse individuals.
• Capability to work autonomously and remotely while sustaining team connections and collaborations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical concepts.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Familiarity with CRM systems; Salesforce is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational abilities and the skill to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven history of achieving sales targets.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 20% for customer visits and meetings.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check, including a drug screening.
