Service Project Manager – Mining and Materials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Supervise the execution of service projects and ABB Customer Care Agreements in the North American region.

• Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer needs and goals are fulfilled.

• Oversee customer service orders to control costs, optimize resource use, and maintain Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.

• Evaluate project risks and communicate lessons learned effectively.

• Manage contract negotiations and claims with customers.

• Create quotes and implement contract modifications based on customer inquiries.

• Ensure the fulfillment of service order deliverables and adherence to contract specifications.

• Coordinate the efforts of project teams, including engineering, testing, site activities, and subcontractors.

• Review and report on contract performance, monitoring and analyzing status.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field is strongly preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in managing projects related to industrial control systems and electrical apparatus.

• Required experience in industrial and/or utility markets.

• Proven ability in managing project scope, costs, financial analyses, schedules, and working with vendors/subcontractors.

• A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• French language skills are an additional asset.

• Strong computer proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
