Project Manager, Hardware

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Assist in the daily project management, monitoring, and implementation for Nex Playground from New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production and ongoing support.

• Collaborate across retail, marketing, design, engineering, compliance, supply chain, manufacturing, and Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs).

• Keep project timelines, action trackers, issue/risk registers, and decision logs organized and up to date.

• Follow up with both internal and external stakeholders regarding actions, deliverables, and deadlines until completion.

• Aid in NPI build readiness by tracking deliverables across engineering, quality, compliance, supply chain, and manufacturing sectors.

• Manage sample requests, deliveries, shipments, meeting arrangements, factory/lab visits, and other project logistics.

• Cultivate a deeper understanding of products and technical aspects while taking responsibility for individual project workstreams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or project coordination is essential.

• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail are necessary.

• Strong follow-up and execution discipline, with the capability to drive actions to completion.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate across various functions and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is required.

• Must be independent, proactive, and accountable.

• An eagerness to learn and continually enhance technical and product knowledge is expected.

• Experience with smart, connected, wearable, or IoT devices, or other consumer electronics products is preferred.

• Familiarity with working with ODMs or OEMs through Joint Development Manufacturer (JDM)/ODM engagement models.

• An understanding of Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Color, Material, Finish (CMF), Design for Excellence (DFx), and electronics manufacturing processes is advantageous.
