Service Processor, Premium & Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee payment indexing along with premium and billing applications.

• Set up and configure new accounts in the relevant systems.

• Investigate discrepancies and assess underlying causes.

• Ensure all information is accurate and properly organized.

• Track the completion of premiums and billing, including managing expenses.

• Resolve intricate premium and billing issues through troubleshooting.

• Handle basic reporting, terminations, and reinstatements.

• Transfer payments as necessary.

• Deliver customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Administer premium and billing cases in line with procedures, guidelines, and quality/production standards.

• Refer complex issues to senior team members or management.

• Recognize, suggest, and advocate for process enhancements and organizational initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.

• 0–1+ years of experience in billing, premium, and/or reconciliation directly related to the position.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Accounts Receivable experience is preferred.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt as required.

• Capability to articulate or modify provisions and comfort with contractual language.

• Must live outside a commutable distance from an office location due to the remote arrangement.
