This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create cost estimates for field service outages based on established standards.
• Plan, prepare, and oversee projects from inception to completion, including managing schedules, budgets, staffing, project setup, requirements, purchase orders, risk analysis, mitigation strategies, and performance objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and liaise with Customer Service Managers, CSLs, and CPMs.
• Analyze forecasts to optimize utilization and achieve catalog objectives.
• Review subcontract agreements and negotiate associated terms and conditions.
• Collaborate daily with Field Service Coordinators, Resource Managers, EHS Managers, and Staff Project Managers.
• Facilitate daily project execution status meetings, Day 2 calls, and OEL Day 2 spot check calls.
• Track project progress and expenditures with support from project controls.
• Conduct audits and inspections throughout installation, commissioning, receiving, operational, and maintenance activities.
• Analyze and report on project closure metrics.
• Review revenue pacing, billing, and authorize supplier invoices.
• Manage purchase order limits, oversee employees without POs, monitor unbilled shipments, accounts receivable, and credit card aging.
• Lead shift handover review meetings.
• Implement corrective measures based on safety observations, advanced communication notifications, and root cause analyses.
• Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate qualifications for recruitment and hiring purposes.
• Acknowledge and reward exemplary performance through site compensation and incentive processes.
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards, FME plans, customer requirements, and OneGE EHS initiatives.
• Oversee field execution activities led by outage managers and construction managers.
• Assist with pre- and post-outage meetings for end-customers.
• Complete requisitions for tools and third-party vendor services.
• Approve technical documentation and update necessary records.
• Maintain communication with TFAs managing assigned projects.
• Perform additional responsibilities in alignment with FieldCore’s vision and organizational values.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience; 7 to 10 years of relevant experience and proven success/knowledge.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing and developing employees.
• A minimum of 5 years of specialized or industry experience.
• Experience in the power generation or technical industry can be substituted for a degree and/or project management experience.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Prior experience as Service Manager II is preferred.
• Must reside in the greater Toronto, ON area.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong proficiency in project management.
• Ability to address complex problems effectively.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Capability to perform a diverse range of duties and responsibilities accurately and efficiently under time-sensitive conditions.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
• Successful completion of a background investigation is necessary.
• Travel may be required.
• Willingness and ability to work during holidays, weekends, and overtime as necessitated by field assignments.
