Service & Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Oversee the upkeep of facilities through light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

• Offer general maintenance assistance, which includes painting, constructing or mending structures, interiors, shelving, and cabinets.

• Carry out cleaning and other fundamental maintenance activities.

• Diagnose, repair, clean, and conduct preventive maintenance on store equipment.

• Reach out to service vendors to coordinate repairs and procure materials.

• Record and relay actions, irregularities, and ongoing requirements to ensure continuity among work teams.

• Engage in training sessions for both existing and new equipment.

• Execute additional duties as assigned or considered necessary.

• Contribute to team objectives by achieving related outcomes.

• Operate a company vehicle to various store locations across the division.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

• Manual dexterity to handle equipment and work in limited spaces.

• Capability to use hand/electric carts, power tools, and hand tools.

• Ability to crouch and/or crawl and utilize a ladder.

• Capacity to lift up to 80 lbs.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple, shifting priorities.

• Capability to work independently.

• 3–5 years of experience in the A/C, Refrigeration, or General Maintenance sector.

• Ability to drive a company vehicle to various store locations throughout the division.

• Must fulfill the physical demands of the role, with reasonable accommodations taken into account.
