Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Install FT-IR, FT-NIR, and Raman systems along with associated accessories at customer locations.

• Conduct repair and maintenance tasks at customer sites.

• Provide training to customers on equipment operation, software functionality, and calibration modeling.

• Secure customer acceptance and sign-off for installations and repairs.

• Act as a liaison between customers and the company.

• Execute preventive and scheduled maintenance in accordance with service contract stipulations.

• Maintain regular communication with customers to identify service requirements and additional support opportunities.

• Address customer inquiries regarding products and services.

• Keep accurate records of field service activities, products sold, and services rendered.

• Assist in the networking of analytical instruments, optional software deployment, and integration with laboratory information systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and expertise acquired through relevant hands-on experience.

• A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing analytical instruments, scientific devices, electromechanical equipment, and/or electronic systems.

• Strong technical proficiency in analytical instrumentation.

• Exceptional customer focus, with the ability to respond effectively to inquiries and foster positive customer relationships.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities, with the skill to articulate complex technical subjects clearly.

• Outstanding organizational skills, capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple responsibilities, and meeting deadlines.

• Strong networking, collaboration, and teamwork capabilities.

• Experience with FT-IR spectroscopy, NIR, Raman technology, Remote Sensing, Microscopy, and laboratory settings is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, is essential.

• Willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time.
