Service Dispatch Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the availability of technicians and monitor job queues throughout the day.

• Assign and track field jobs utilizing dispatch platforms and outage management tools.

• Address Priority 1 and 2 alarms, handle escalations, and manage issues arising from missed appointments.

• Communicate estimated times of arrival (ETAs) and job updates to internal teams and customers.

• Record job status and actions in Teams, email, and tracking systems.

• Collaborate with team members across shifts to ensure seamless handoffs and continuity of service.

• Coordinate field operations, oversee technician schedules, and ensure prompt resolution of service requests and outages.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Call Center environment is required.

• At least 1 year of experience working from home is required.

• Must be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and able to adhere to the assigned schedule with minimal supervision.

• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills are essential.

• Must possess a professional and articulate voice.

• Ability to multitask across various computer applications while engaging in conversations with customers.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and occasionally hectic environment while maintaining professionalism.

• Computer literate and able to troubleshoot minor technical issues with minimal help.

• Basic math skills are required.

• Strong problem-solving abilities are essential.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Must have an upload speed of 25Mbps and a download speed of 50Mbps.

• Internet service provider must have high stability with 1% or less packet loss.

• Latency must be under 100ms.

• A USB headset with a noise-canceling microphone is required; 3.5 mm headsets and gaming headsets are not permitted.

• Must have an available cell phone or tablet and be able to install the necessary 2FA software for multifactor authentication.
