Service Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Execute the service strategy within the Greater Portland, Oregon region.

• Propel operational and commercial business goals by guiding and mentoring Field Engineers.

• Collaborate with the Market Service Vice President, local commercial account community, and peer management teams.

• Foster business expansion and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Act as the main point of contact for essential local customer service and support matters.

• Cultivate robust internal and external partnerships to enhance customer outcomes, market visibility, market share, and profitability.

• Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing concerns across support services.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned regions, coverage areas, product lines, and equipment configurations.

• Establish and sustain ongoing technical and business support for assigned clients.

• Recruit and nurture talent, oversee staffing, and manage performance development.

• Utilize technical expertise, analytical thinking, and both internal and external information to make informed decisions.

• Provide guidance to less-experienced colleagues and lead small, low-risk projects.

• Communicate information clearly, build team consensus, convey performance expectations, and address sensitive issues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED accompanied by a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in team leadership.

• Capability to coach and mentor team members effectively.

• Proven verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in analyzing and resolving issues.

• Skilled in leading programs and projects.

• Competent in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Established experience in managing customer relationships.

• Ability to comprehend customer challenges and drive technical or business resolutions.

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Greater Portland area.

• Willingness to travel 2–3 days in the field (40–50% travel required).

• Previous management experience in Field Service teams related to equipment maintenance is preferred.

• Prior experience in field sales or field service is advantageous.

• Proven capability to influence and initiate change is preferred.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
