Service Designer – Mid-Level Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of user-focused digital products.

• Ensure that development initiatives are in harmony with user requirements and that the client’s systems are seamlessly integrated.

• Enhance interactions with departments, schools, and other stakeholders to collect insights and develop tailored software solutions.

• Conduct and analyze user research while simplifying service complexity.

• Supervise integration teams collaborating with operations and the engineering of sophisticated systems.

• Facilitate workshops aimed at product brainstorming, persona development, and user research.

• Create user and business documentation along with support materials.

• Specify and refine requirements while managing any inconsistencies.

• Execute product handover processes.

• Establish acceptance criteria for deliverables.

• Assess and validate solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed higher education degree is preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field in service design.

• Certification is not mandatory.

• Experience in working on technical projects across at least two areas, one of which must include a DevOps team.

• Familiarity with conducting and interpreting user research.

• Knowledge of managing integration teams that collaborate with operations and the engineering of complex systems.

• Understanding of agile frameworks and methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean Inception, Design Thinking, SAFe, Customer Experience, DevOps, Systems Engineering, OKRs, and Business Agility.

• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Marvel, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, and InVision.

• Knowledge of mobile app design for both iOS and Android, as well as responsive design principles.

• Experience in facilitating workshops for product ideation, persona development, and user research.

• Knowledge in creating user and business documentation.

• Understanding of solution evaluation and validation processes.
