This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Report directly to the Head of Product.
• Take ownership and enhance product areas that affect members, doulas, and internal operational teams.
• Define and uphold strategic roadmaps for designated product areas.
• Conduct structured discovery processes and convert insights into problem statements, hypotheses, and user stories.
• Collaborate with internal business and customer-facing teams to comprehend workflows and pinpoint pain points.
• Utilize both quantitative and qualitative research data to assess impact, prioritize tasks, and iterate on solutions.
• Work together with Product Marketing, UX Design, Data, and Engineering to scope, prioritize, and implement initiatives.
• Assist in launch execution, rollout, adoption, communication, training, and feedback mechanisms.
• Lead the complete product delivery process from discovery to post-release optimization.
• Continuously enhance processes, product experiences, and operational effectiveness.
• Contribute to shaping how Mae expands across various markets.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management.
• Proven experience managing tech-enabled services in highly regulated sectors such as healthcare, education, or financial services.
• Experience in digital health is an advantage.
• Ability to balance strategic thought with practical execution, utilizing data, user insights, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience managing the entire product development lifecycle from discovery and definition to execution, launch, and post-launch iteration.
• Proficient in framing problems, defining hypotheses, and integrating user insights, business needs, and operational objectives into product decisions.
• Strong project management abilities, including overseeing complex projects, timelines, dependencies, and multiple workstreams.
• Capability to quickly develop subject-matter expertise through independent research and collaboration with internal specialists.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement, with the ability to enhance product development workflows and implement process changes.
• Ability to fully take ownership of assigned product areas and independently drive progress.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; employment authorization will be verified through E-Verify.
