This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish product strategy and vision that aligns with the company's objectives and competitive landscape.
• Engage consistently with customers, users, Sales, Support, and Customer Success to represent the target market effectively.
• Take ownership and prioritize the product roadmap.
• Define and communicate product requirements, priorities, business outcomes, and release goals.
• Serve as the voice of the customer and target market for Product Development and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Development throughout the stages of discovery, validation, delivery, and iteration.
• Mentor and coach Product Managers to elevate product-team standards.
• Work alongside Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on positioning, enablement, launches, and strategic customer interactions.
• Monitor customer feedback, market trends, competitive positioning, and product performance.
• Communicate strategy, roadmap updates, and priorities to both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
• Establish product management practices, standards, processes, and cross-team coordination.
• Align product strategy across the entire product portfolio.
• Assess and prioritize proposed features and products; assist junior Product Managers in roadmap development.
• Standardize product processes and keep current product content updated for releases.
• Enhance product knowledge through training sessions for Sales, Solutions Engineers, Product Success, and Help Desk Engineers.
• Maintain competitive intelligence and market traction metrics.
• Build relationships with industry analysts and seek co-presentation opportunities.
• Create and manage product intranet content and sales materials; facilitate product forums.
• Lead marketing and sales initiatives for product opportunities.
• Present upcoming releases and product roadmaps to customers, fostering relationships with key users.
• Evaluate and enhance team effectiveness in collaboration with Engineering Managers and Product Owners.
• Conduct departmental and cross-company meetings, fostering relationships with peers and senior executives.
• Over 7 years of product management experience with proven leadership and strategic business impact.
• Experience in a B2B software company with approximate revenue of $50 million.
• Demonstrated ownership of product strategy and roadmap prioritization across multiple quarterly planning cycles.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, or informally guiding other Product Managers.
• Background in an early-stage B2B software tech startup and experience working in a fully remote environment.
• Proven collaboration with direct sales organizations, including Account Executives and Solutions Engineers.
• Experience with a company offering multiple products as part of an integrated platform.
• Support experience with Fortune 500 and mid-market companies.
• Worked closely with Product Development team members as primary users/stakeholders.
• Skilled at balancing customer demands, competitive pressures, and the progression towards product vision.
• Proficient in articulating product value propositions and ROI to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in identifying, analyzing, and monitoring key competitive products and market positioning.
• Strong history of direct customer engagement, including discovery discussions, product feedback sessions, and strategic account interactions.
• Commitment to continuous discovery.
• Strong customer empathy and advocacy skills.
• Ability to engage users, customers, and non-customers during early-stage product development.
• Proficient in setting and communicating product strategy.
• Experience in coaching and developing PM talent.
• Familiarity with AI tools for Product Management tasks.
• Skilled in using AI coding tools to create functional prototypes.
• Excellent verbal communication, persuasive writing, and motivational presentation skills.
