This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Integrate human-centered design, business requirements, and technical solutions during the Service Design and Planning stages for the EI on BDM program.
• Analyze and synthesize user, business, and technical elements into both conceptual and functional designs in collaboration with Product Management and Planning teams.
• Influence experience decisions and support essential planning choices within an agile delivery framework.
• Conduct working sessions to collect insights, needs, and requirements while promoting stakeholder collaboration.
• Develop functional flows to illustrate user experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to enhance features and acceptance criteria through a human-centered perspective.
• Evaluate generative research insights to shape and enhance the target platform experience.
• Produce conceptual design materials, including user flows, functional flows, journeys, and mockups.
• Engage in feature creation and documentation to elevate quality and standards.
• Articulate the reasoning and thought process behind design solutions.
• Convey research findings, conceptual ideas, service strategy, service delivery, and implementation details.
• Must possess a current Government of Canada Reliability clearance or a higher level at the time of application.
• Proven experience in Design Research, Interaction Design, and Service Design, with a fundamental understanding of related fields.
• Demonstrated capability to implement human-centered design methodologies to tackle complex business and customer issues across various user groups, products, services, and channels.
• Experience in creating and enhancing end-to-end experiences across both digital and physical touchpoints.
• Ability to harmonize user needs, business goals, and operational aspects.
• Skill in translating research insights, customer feedback, and business requirements into practical design recommendations and solutions.
• Advanced expertise in User Experience techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of Service Design Thinking.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Figma, including wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and collaborative design assets.
• Preferred: Experience in planning, designing, and leading workshops.
• Preferred: Strong qualitative research capabilities, encompassing interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability testing.
• Preferred: Ability to distill extensive qualitative data into human-centered insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
