This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with both existing and potential customers.
• Recognize, pursue, and finalize opportunities for service agreements, maintenance, and aftermarket sales.
• Advocate for service solutions that enhance equipment performance, uptime, and overall efficiency.
• Address customer inquiries and propose customized solutions.
• Draft customer proposals, quotes, and service agreements.
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service delivery within set authority limits.
• Collaborate with service, operations, and account teams to fulfill customer needs.
• Assist in renewal strategies and the retention of current service agreements.
• Broaden service offerings within designated accounts.
• Spot equipment replacement or upgrade opportunities and refer leads to the equipment sales team.
• Formulate account plans and sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives.
• Keep precise records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer details in company systems.
• Travel frequently within the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to visit customer locations, support account management, foster relationships, and drive sales growth.
• Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication, follow-up, and product/service expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrable experience in sales, account management, service sales, or technical solutions within a relevant industry.
• Capable of establishing customer relationships and expanding accounts through consultative selling.
• Strong knowledge of service agreements, maintenance programs, and aftermarket solutions.
• Ability to identify customer needs, craft customized solutions, and effectively communicate value.
• Experience in preparing proposals, negotiating pricing and contract conditions, and closing sales within defined authority limits.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a capacity to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales and retention targets.
• Ability to work collaboratively across sales, service, and operations teams.
• Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales-related tools.
• Regular travel within the metropolitan areas of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. is required.
• Valid driver’s license maintained for at least 12 months.
• No significant or frequent traffic violations or preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
• This is a safety-sensitive position; additional drug screening may be necessary.
