Server Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

• Analyze business requirements

• Make architectural and design choices utilizing Java

• Write robust and maintainable code

• Take full ownership of product development

• Conduct alpha testing and perform code reviews

• Assume a technical leadership role and exhibit proactive behavior

• Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions

• Participate in game engine and frontend development

• Build and enhance core engine components

• Deliver engaging and interactive user experiences

• Develop web-based casino applications for mobile platforms

• Implement essential business logic and engine-level functionalities

• Create custom architectural solutions tailored to unique gameplay mechanics and performance needs

• Ensure support for modern browsers and mobile devices

• Collaborate with distributed development teams, primarily those based in the United States

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher education in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field

• Over 3 years of Java experience, preferably in the game development or iGaming sectors

• Profound knowledge of Java core and Collection API

• Familiarity with source control, build, and tracking tools (Git, Maven, Jira)

• Understanding of common patterns and algorithms

• Experience with web applications (JavaScript, TypeScript) is a plus

• Knowledge of modern Java features and capabilities (up to Java 25) is advantageous

• Comprehension of functional programming approaches in Java using Vavr (formerly Javaslang) is beneficial

• Excellent communication skills
