This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the current performance of the site and analyze competitor SEO strategies.

• Discover commercially beneficial search opportunities and align them with the site’s structure.

• Directly implement on-page SEO improvements in Squarespace, covering titles, meta descriptions, URLs, schema, internal linking, GSC/GA4, and redirects.

• Create and assist in developing a content strategy focused on search.

• Establish a strategy for editorial links and digital PR authority without relying on bulk or paid link methods.

• Consider visibility in AI-driven search, such as ChatGPT and Google AI search, in addition to conventional SEO practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of SEO experience with a demonstrated ability to enhance organic visibility.

• Background in B2B, professional services, agencies, or consultancies.

• Excellent writing and editorial judgment with strong proficiency in written English.

• Expertise in Squarespace, Google Search Console, and GA4.

• Knowledge of site architecture, internal linking, and content strategy.

• Familiarity with AI search and GEO is advantageous.

• Candidates must be located in South Africa.

• Must provide three examples of websites that you have personally improved in terms of organic traffic, including results/data and specific actions taken.

• A brief response to a strategic question should be included in the application.
