This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert in SEO and organic search.
• Oversee and manage a portfolio consisting of 4–6 SEO accounts.
• Drive and implement strategies, innovations, and performance for various client SEO initiatives.
• Lead regular status updates and reporting calls, serving as the primary SEO contact for assigned clients.
• Foster long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant.
• Convert channel strategy into tactical roadmaps with specific timelines.
• Establish and maintain content systems, which include topic clusters, pillar pages, internal links, and supporting schema.
• Focus on performance-driven initiatives and produce authoritative content at scale.
• Investigate emerging trends in search and AI technologies.
• Analyze performance data, recognize trends, assess the impact of initiatives, and develop actionable strategies.
• Collaborate with the measurement, paid media, and creative teams.
• Experiment and optimize strategies for generative AI and LLM-powered search engines.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an agency setting.
• At least 3 years of relevant marketing/SEO experience is required.
• Preference for candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Past experience at a performance marketing agency is necessary.
• Hands-on experience optimizing for AI search, including practical tests and experimentation.
• Capability to develop and implement SEO strategies across various industries.
• Ability to link SEO outcomes to quantifiable client business results and bottom-line impact.
• Expertise in content strategy informed by audience, keyword, and competitor analysis.
• Skill in creating content briefs for content teams.
• Proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Comfortable in building client relationships, establishing expertise and credibility, and representing SEO engagements.
• Strong project and time management abilities.
