This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Design and implement SEO strategies aligned with business goals, organic performance, competitive analysis, and growth potential.
• Establish priorities, timelines, deliverables, and SEO projects across various client accounts.
• Perform or oversee intent-based keyword research, clustering, funnel alignment, and opportunity assessments.
• Create SEO content strategies and evaluate content briefs, landing page suggestions, and content plans.
• Lead or assess technical SEO audits and facilitate implementation with developers and stakeholders.
• Define and manage backlink and off-page strategies.
• Execute SERP analysis, competitor benchmarking, content gap assessments, and identify opportunities for organic visibility.
• Oversee the execution of SEO recommendations in collaboration with Content, Development, and other teams.
• Monitor deliverables, deadlines, priorities, and workloads across assigned accounts.
• Review SEO outputs from Analysts and Junior team members for quality assurance.
• Offer technical and strategic guidance, identify bottlenecks, and foster team development.
• Serve as the strategic SEO contact for a portfolio of clients.
• Lead monthly performance discussions and engage in strategic conversations with clients.
• Report on progress, results, challenges, and next steps while adhering to agreed SLAs.
• Analyze organic traffic, rankings, visibility, CTR, conversions, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare or assess monthly performance reports and define actionable next steps.
• Utilize GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Looker Studio, and other platforms to guide strategy.
• 3–5 years of experience in an SEO-focused position, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
• Strong comprehension of on-page SEO, technical SEO, content strategy, and link-building best practices.
• Demonstrated experience managing SEO campaigns from start to finish, including strategy formulation, keyword research, audits, content briefing, implementation follow-ups, reporting, and optimization.
• Experience managing multiple SEO accounts and prioritizing tasks concurrently.
• Proficient in GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio.
• Capability to conduct, prioritize, and follow up on technical, content, and off-page SEO audits.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into actionable SEO strategies and business insights.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Familiarity with ClickUp, SENTR, or similar CRM/task management platforms.
• Experience mentoring or reviewing other SEO professionals is highly desirable.
• Background in client-facing roles with exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage priorities efficiently.
• Advanced proficiency in English is mandatory.
