This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit HTML and CMS templates directly to apply on-page SEO best practices, such as title tags, meta descriptions, H1–H3 hierarchy, schema, structured data, internal linking, image alt text, and clean URLs.

• Conduct technical SEO health assessments that encompass crawlability, indexation, page speed basics, broken links, and redirects; resolve issues or coordinate necessary fixes.

• Manage WordPress-based properties, including the Seeking blog, STNDRDS, and related brands.

• Implement structured data, schema markup, and entity tagging for optimization in search engines and AI answer engines.

• Write, edit, and publish content including blog posts, landing pages, FAQs, category pages, and pillar hubs.

• Oversee the editorial calendar across owned channels, ensuring alignment with campaigns, product launches, and cultural events.

• Identify content gaps, refresh opportunities, and topical authority angles, transforming them into published assets.

• Develop entity-driven content strategies designed for authoritative, citation-ready AI answers.

• Conduct keyword research, intent expansion, and competitive discovery analysis using GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.

• Optimize content for AI Overviews, AEO, GEO, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and other LLM-powered discovery surfaces.

• Stay updated on emerging discoverability tactics and provide proven recommendations.

• Coordinate with external agencies and freelance partners, managing timelines, feedback, scope, and quality assurance.

• Track and report weekly and monthly KPIs, including organic traffic, rankings, indexation, engagement, and AI-search visibility.

• Translate performance data into priorities for the next cycle and flag potential risks.

• Collaborate with Creative, Brand, Product, Legal, Data & Analytics, and other marketing teams.

• Assist with organic growth initiatives such as reputation and review monitoring.


⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in SEO and content within a consumer brand, preferably in consumer subscription, marketplace, mobile-first, dating, or social platforms.

• Proven published work and measurable results in SEO or content.

• Proficient in HTML and CSS for direct edits within CMS-based on-page SEO.

• Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, internal linking, crawlability, indexation, page speed, and structured data.

• Excellent writing and editing capabilities across various content types, including blog, landing page, FAQ, and category content.

• Proficiency in AEO and GEO, schema markup, structured data, brand-entity strategy, and citations for AI answer engines.

• Practical experience with GA4, Search Console, and at least one paid SEO tool like SEMrush or Ahrefs.

• Working knowledge of WordPress and basic front-end skills for HTML, CSS, and component-level adjustments.

• Daily fluency in AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cowork, or similar platforms.

• Ability to evaluate Seeking’s search and AI presence and implement fixes within the first week.

• A disciplined operator who ensures timely delivery, thorough QA, organized naming and metadata, and proper documentation.

• SEO & Content Specialist: 2 to 4 years of relevant SEO, content, or organic growth experience.

• SEO & Content Strategist: 4 to 7+ years of relevant SEO and content experience.

• Strategist-level experience leading organic growth programs, developing discovery roadmaps, managing editorial calendars, mentoring, and optimizing for zero-click results, featured snippets, AI Overviews, and answer-engine citations.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.

• A portfolio showcasing published SEO or content work with measurable outcomes.

• Experience managing direct agency or content-vendor relationships.

• Familiarity with CMS migrations, particularly from WordPress to automated or AI-native publishing stacks.

• Knowledge of structured AEO/GEO programs.

• Exposure to reputation and review platforms such as Trustpilot, Glassdoor, and app stores.
