This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more countries.
• Assist in conducting technical SEO audits across client websites, pinpointing issues related to crawlability, indexation, and overall site health under the guidance of senior staff.
• Aid in the implementation of redirects, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and structured data solutions within WordPress.
• Oversee site health monitoring utilizing tools such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, and Google Search Console.
• Analyze Core Web Vitals and page speed challenges, documenting findings for senior review.
• Perform keyword research to develop content strategies that resonate with clients’ practice areas and target demographics.
• Support the creation of SEO content briefs for writers.
• Review and enhance existing on-page content for relevance, structure, and alignment with search intent.
• Assist in identifying content gap opportunities.
• Contribute to the optimization of Google Business Profiles and the building of citations.
• Track local rankings across targeted practice areas and geographical locations.
• Identify and report inconsistencies in local listings across various directories and data aggregators.
• Monitor keyword performance benchmarks and report significant changes to senior team members.
• Manage tasks, budgets, and progress using Asana.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to share insights and enhance processes.
• Stay informed on algorithm updates and best practices in SEO, particularly within the legal sector.
• 0 to 2 years of practical SEO experience encompassing technical, content, or local SEO.
• Basic understanding of WordPress, including comfort with navigating the CMS and using common SEO plugins like Yoast or RankMath.
• Proficient in at least one major SEO tool, such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console.
• Knowledge of fundamental SEO concepts, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and local search principles.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing numerous tasks across various client accounts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for internal documentation and asynchronous collaboration with a US-based team.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely within a structured workflow.
• Genuine interest in SEO and a desire for rapid growth in all three areas of search.
• Any exposure to the legal sector or professional services is a plus.
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile and management of local citations.
• Basic knowledge of Core Web Vitals and page speed concepts.
• Working knowledge of HTML or CSS as it pertains to SEO implementation.
• Exposure to GA4, GTM, or concepts related to conversion tracking.
• Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Monday, or Notion.
• Competitive contractor rate based on experience.
