Search & Discoverability Lead – SEO, AEO, GEO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Enhance the visibility of ambitious brands across search engines, answer engines, and AI-driven platforms.

• Oversee the entire technical SEO lifecycle, from auditing and diagnosis to prioritized roadmaps and ongoing optimization.

• Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits focusing on crawlability, indexation, rendering, and site architecture.

• Develop and implement SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies, translating insights into actionable, prioritized roadmaps.

• Manage SEO strategies for site migrations and replatforming projects, including redirect mapping and validation processes.

• Track performance metrics using GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and AI/LLM visibility tools.

• Collaborate with Content Strategists on keyword research, intent mapping, and SERP analysis.

• Provide guidance on SEO best practices within Sitecore XP, XM Cloud, and Sitecore AI.

• Work closely with developers to address rendering, crawlability, and structured data issues.

• Present audit outcomes and recommendations to clients, support pre-sales initiatives, and act as a thought leader.

• Partner with Content, UX, Data, and Technology teams.

• Mentor team members and enhance overall capabilities.

• Establish new frameworks and workflows for an expanding search and discoverability practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in SEO with a strong focus on technical aspects, preferably in an agency or consultancy setting.

• Extensive knowledge of technical SEO, including migrations, redirect mapping, indexation, and site architecture.

• Proficient hands-on experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Search Console, in addition to AI/LLM visibility platforms like Scrunch, Peec, or Profound.

• Understanding of structured data, semantic search, and AI-driven discoverability (AEO/GEO).

• Practical experience delivering SEO strategies within Sitecore environments (XP, XM Cloud, or Sitecore AI).

• Familiarity with JavaScript SEO, rendering challenges, and modern web architectures.

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities across both technical and non-technical teams.
