Senior/Lead Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Macedonia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete software delivery process for a long-term client partnership.

• Strategically plan, manage, and oversee project scope, budget, and schedule.

• Serve as the primary daily contact for the client and maintain the project-level client relationship.

• Negotiate project scope, priorities, and change requests with client stakeholders.

• Identify and address risks, dependencies, and technical challenges in collaboration with technical leads.

• Distribute tasks and manage the workload of the team.

• Ensure that distributed teams remain aligned, motivated, and productive.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes.

• Provide consistent reporting on project status, risks, and budget to both the client and internal management.

• Offer performance feedback and support the development of team members.

• In a Lead capacity, mentor fellow project managers and help establish delivery standards across the account.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of project management experience within a software development context.

• At least 3 years in client-facing positions at a service company or agency.

• Strong technical knowledge of architecture, integrations, APIs, environments, and release processes.

• Ability to critically assess estimates and identify technical risks at an early stage.

• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and hybrid delivery models.

• Demonstrated ownership of project scope, timelines, and budgets for medium to large-scale projects.

• Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.

• Proven capability in leading distributed teams across various countries and time zones.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior client contacts.

• Strong negotiation abilities regarding scope, timelines, and change requests.

• Clear and structured verbal and written communication skills.

• Practical experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Office.

• Proficient in English at a B2+ level, with strong spoken English for client interactions.
