This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Design and implement robust, scalable solutions; assess the existing codebase and suggest improvements to mitigate risks and issues.
• Enhance application performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Explore new AI frameworks and tools to optimize the development lifecycle.
• Serve as the technical lead for the mobile development team.
• Mentor mid-level developers and conduct code reviews.
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural patterns for AI-driven mobile solutions.
• Identify technical debt and risks, proposing strategies for mitigation.
• Lead architectural discussions for a modular, testable mobile platform prepared for swift AI integration.
• Collaborate with Product and Backend teams to design APIs that support AI functionalities.
• Facilitate communication with Product Managers, Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers.
• Handle customer communications regarding technical limitations and translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in mobile development (Native iOS using Swift/Objective-C and/or Native Android using Kotlin/Java).
• Demonstrated experience in leading a technical project or mentoring junior engineers.
• Proven track record of launching applications that leverage AI/ML technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Bitrise).
• Experience with automated testing (Unit, UI, and Integration tests).
• Strong understanding of performance profiling and memory management on mobile devices.
• Experience with Generative AI is essential.
• Native mobile expertise is required.
• Published apps in the App Store/Google Play with significant user engagement.
