Senior XaaS Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop an automation strategy and roadmap for technology services provided through self-service or request-driven interactions.

• Identify significant opportunities for automating provisioning, configuration, validation, remediation, scaling, decommissioning, and service modifications.

• Create reusable workflows, orchestration patterns, APIs, integrations, and automation components across various services.

• Link automation to service catalogs, IT service management, IAM, monitoring, configuration management, inventory, and billing or consumption systems as applicable.

• Set up controls for approvals, policy enforcement, secrets management, audit trails, exception handling, and human intervention.

• Advocate for event-driven operations, infrastructure as code, continuous validation, and automated compliance checks.

• Establish standards for testing, version control, release management, observability, failure recovery, and maintainability.

• Assess enhancements in fulfillment time, error rates, operational effort, adoption, reliability, and customer experience.
