This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Take ownership of and provide recurring reports on payroll hours, labor expenditures, and budget performance.
• Analyze labor performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, focusing on payroll hours, sales, traffic, and productivity metrics.
• Identify factors contributing to variances from budget, forecasts, and prior year results; offer recommendations to enhance performance.
• Conduct in-depth and ad hoc analysis to reveal trends that support business decision-making.
• Convert complex data into actionable insights for cross-functional partners.
• Assist in the labor budgeting, forecasting, and salary support planning processes.
• Examine wage rates based on employee type and role.
• Develop and sustain labor hour allocations for initiatives, pilot programs, and peak business periods.
• Collaborate with finance and business teams to ensure labor investments align with financial objectives.
• Aid brand expansion, pilot programs, and test-and-learn initiatives through comprehensive analysis and reporting.
• Provide recaps and readouts that include insights and recommendations.
• Assess the impact of operational and strategic changes on labor performance.
• Support workforce planning by evaluating staffing levels in relation to demand and financial goals.
• Assist in traffic and demand analysis.
• Identify opportunities to synchronize labor hours with customer demand.
• Review salary support processes and vendor contracts.
• Monitor cost drivers and offer insights to enhance labor efficiency and control spending.
• Propel the simplification and continuous improvement of workforce management processes and reporting.
• Support presentations for key initiatives, including holiday planning, inventory management, and major rollouts.
• Communicate updates regarding Hours of Operation and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in workforce management, labor analytics, or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capability to convert data into business insights.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience with Access and various reporting tools.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership.
