This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collect, cleanse, validate, and input data into internal business systems.
• Comprehend and operate within existing data frameworks; pinpoint gaps, relationships, and regulations that support accurate reporting and business operations.
• Establish and uphold data governance standards, definitions, and documentation.
• Utilize reports, dashboards, and analyses to highlight trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process enhancement.
• Elicit, document, and prioritize internal business needs through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughs.
• Convert business needs into functional specifications for consultants and developers.
• Map current and future business processes; identify gaps and suggest improvements.
• Assist in testing and validation to ensure delivered solutions align with agreed-upon requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and delivery teams, maintaining aligned communication and expectations.
• Contribute beyond established responsibilities to foster client and team success.
• Communicate progress, risks, and obstacles proactively to the engagement lead and client stakeholders.
• Present data-driven findings and recommendations while remaining receptive to challenges.
• Report to the VP of Operations/Partner.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or hybrid role.
• Proficient in working with data models, relational data structures, and data quality standards that support business processes.
• Strong Excel capabilities (formulas, pivot tables, data cleanup) for daily data management tasks.
• Robust knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA processes, with the ability to link data fields, records, and system behavior to the business processes they support.
• Proven track record of gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translating them into clear documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting findings to clients and leadership.
• Ability to work within an established data model, define data governance standards, and input data into a live system.
• Basic prompt engineering skills — capable of effectively utilizing AI tools as part of daily build, documentation, and data tasks.
• Strong process orientation — able to trace how a data field or record supports the underlying business process, beyond just its structure.
• Prior experience in a consulting, professional services, or client-facing delivery environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with the SAP ecosystem, SuccessFactors, MDG, or BTM tools such as Signavio, LeanIX, and Cloud ALM is preferred.
• Understanding of process mapping and requirements tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, Azure DevOps) is preferred.
• Experience working on a small team where roles extend beyond a single job title is preferred.
• Previous exposure to EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) or HR system implementations is preferred.
• Familiarity with the OpenText ecosystem or other content management platforms is preferred.
