This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish enduring customer relationships while enhancing operational efficiency, financial management, and hub safety.
• Direct a multi-site service hub team and oversee daily hub operations.
• Manage turbine output and prioritize turbine performance to fulfill or surpass performance commitments.
• Provide staffing assistance, coaching, training, corrective actions, and succession planning for employees and contracted partners.
• Foster a safety culture within the hub, encompassing contracted partners and customers.
• Conduct daily Plan of the Day calls and manage the dispatch schedule effectively.
• Act as the primary customer contact and address customer concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with the Customer Performance Manager and cross-functional teams, including Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and HR.
• Oversee turbine return-to-service initiatives.
• Manage operations across various sites, including weekly site visits.
• Implement LEAN principles and innovative problem-solving techniques to enhance facility operations and productivity.
• Promote safety awareness, foster customer relationship growth, encourage team engagement, and support development.
• Supervise the planning, organizing, coordinating, executing, and monitoring of wind hub activities, outage management, operational excellence, and financial oversight.
• Report directly to the Service Director.
• High school diploma or General Education equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in a field services position or a similar role within the energy sector.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the hub, which may include overnight stays.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Technical certification in Wind Energy or in the Electrical/Electronic field is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, email programs, facility control and management systems, and diagnostic troubleshooting tools.
• Experience in the wind turbine or energy industry is essential.
• Advanced expertise in electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems, including the use of hydraulic power tools.
• Experience with heavy equipment necessary for facility maintenance and a solid understanding of crane and rigging requirements.
• Strong writing abilities to fulfill contractual reporting requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Capacity, willingness, and adaptability to take initiative and work independently.
• Ability to interact with a diverse array of personnel at all levels, both within and outside the Wind Hub.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening may be required.
