
Senior Wind Hub Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee a multi-site service hub and handle daily operational activities.
• Cultivate enduring customer relationships and act as the main point of contact for clients.
• Manage turbine output and prioritize performance to ensure commitments are met or surpassed.
• Provide leadership in staffing, coaching, training, corrective actions, and succession planning.
• Foster a safety culture within the hub, encompassing contracted partners and clients.
• Conduct daily Plan of the Day meetings and oversee the dispatch schedule.
• Collaborate with the Customer Performance Manager.
• Prioritize and escalate customer concerns as needed.
• Work alongside Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and HR to fulfill deliverables.
• Lead operations across various sites, including weekly site visits.
• Utilize LEAN principles and innovative problem-solving in facility operations.
• Promote safety, enhance customer relationships, drive team engagement, and support development.
• Supervise the planning, organization, coordination, execution, and control of hub activities.
• Propel productivity enhancements, operational excellence, and outage management.
• Report directly to the Service Director.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in field services or a comparable position within the energy sector.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the hub, including potential overnight stays.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet management, email applications, facility control systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Experience in the wind turbine or energy industry.
• Advanced knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems, including the use of hydraulic power tools.
• Experience with heavy equipment necessary for facility maintenance.
• Basic understanding of crane and rigging requirements.
• Strong writing skills to fulfill contractual reporting needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Capacity, willingness, and flexibility to take initiative and work independently.
• Ability to engage with a diverse range of personnel at all levels both within and outside of the Wind Hub.
