This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Formulate and implement the national mergers and acquisitions strategy for Bristol Hospice.
• Identify and assess potential acquisitions, affiliations, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Analyze trends in the healthcare market, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for growth.
• Oversee the entire acquisition lifecycle from initial sourcing to post-transaction integration.
• Supervise valuation modeling, due diligence, financial analysis, and structuring of deals.
• Negotiate terms of transactions and lead intricate deal execution processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain approvals and finalize transactions.
• Build and nurture relationships with healthcare owners, operators, brokers, investment bankers, private equity firms, advisors, and lenders.
• Develop a robust pipeline of acquisition prospects nationwide.
• Represent Bristol Hospice in external negotiations and discussions regarding strategic partnerships.
• Provide guidance to the Executive Leadership Team and Board on growth strategies and capital allocation.
• Deliver presentations on acquisition opportunities, investment proposals, market insights, and transaction progress.
• Create presentations for executives and board members.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize acquisition value and meet integration goals.
• Establish and track key performance indicators to measure transaction success.
• Assess post-acquisition performance and ensure accountability for operational and financial results.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Healthcare Finance, or other related strategic growth fields.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex acquisitions from initiation to closure.
• Experience presenting analyses and recommendations to executive leadership, boards, or investors.
• Executive presence coupled with outstanding communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Capacity to influence senior stakeholders and foster consensus.
• Sound judgment in complex, high-stakes situations.
• Proven track record of managing multiple transactions concurrently.
• Expertise in navigating uncertainty and making well-informed decisions.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.
