Senior Vice President, Marketing

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy across the enterprise that aligns with MGT's growth priorities, market expansion goals, and revenue targets.

• Direct MGT's brand strategy and architecture, bringing together acquired and legacy brands into a cohesive enterprise identity, message, and market presence.

• Oversee and integrate MGT's distributed marketing organization, establishing a clear operational model, priorities, accountability, and talent development initiatives.

• Own the enterprise's digital and AI-driven marketing strategy, encompassing website evolution, SEO/SEM, social media, email, digital campaigns, marketing automation, content distribution, and new technologies.

• Create integrated demand generation and field marketing programs that generate qualified pipeline and measurable revenue contributions in collaboration with Sales and go-to-market leaders.

• Formulate marketing strategies specifically designed for state, local, and education government buyers.

• Lead MGT's public-sector event strategy, covering conferences, sponsorships, associations, client forums, and webinars.

• Shape enterprise positioning, messaging, thought leadership, content, communications, and public relations efforts.

• Convert complex technology and advisory capabilities into valuable customer propositions, campaigns, and materials for sales enablement.

• Collaborate with Sales, go-to-market, pursuit/capture, proposal, and practice leaders to identify growth opportunities and customer pursuits.

• Establish marketing performance metrics and dashboards; manage budget planning, resource allocation, and ROI discipline.

• Utilize market intelligence, customer insights, competitive analysis, and performance data to identify growth opportunities and maximize marketing investments.

• Lead marketing integration for acquisitions, encompassing brand migration, communications, digital consolidation, go-to-market coordination, and team integration.

• Prepare and present marketing strategy, brand progress, pipeline contributions, and performance insights to executive leadership and the Board.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.

• An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive marketing experience, including senior leadership roles in a B2B technology, professional services, or similarly complex growth organization.

• Proven track record in building and leading high-performing marketing teams across brand, digital, demand generation, content, communications, events, and marketing operations.

• Demonstrated success in leading brand transformation and/or M&A integration, including the consolidation of multiple brands, teams, websites, and market identities.

• Experience marketing to state, local, and education government (SLED) or the broader public sector is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of government buying cycles and event-driven engagement strategies.

• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align Marketing with Sales and go-to-market teams to influence pipeline, revenue growth, and market expansion.

• Exceptional executive communication, change leadership, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to advise senior leaders and communicate effectively with Boards.

• Strong analytical and financial skills.

• Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, digital analytics, and reporting platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Google Analytics, and Power BI is preferred.

• Demonstrated willingness and experience in adopting AI and emerging technologies to enhance marketing strategy, campaign execution, demand generation, marketing operations, and team effectiveness.
